Perhaps the greatest thing about the Temple View Guesthouse Rome is it's superb location. Situated overlooking Piazza Largo Argentino on Largo dei Ginnasi, the guesthouse overlooks four ancient Roman Temples dating from between the 4th and 2nd centuries BC. As if this wasn't mind blowing enough, the site is also home to the spot where Julius Caesar was infamously murdered in 44 BC!!
The Piazza is also home to an 18th Century Opera House and more recently the archaeological area of the Temples has begun a sanctuary for wild cats that offer no end of great photo opportunities.
Furthermore, the Piazza is well connected to public transport with many major bus lines intersecting here, in addition to being home to a major tram stop. The tram is ideal as it can take guests a few stops to Trastevere - one of the most famous areas of Rome well known for it's characteristic narrow cobbled streets, plethora of restaurants and bars, and fantastically charming atmosphere. The bus connections are also an excellent help to guests whose feet may be waning as within minutes guests can catch a whole host of buses to the Vatican, the Basilica of St Peter, Castel Sant'Angelo, the Vatican Museums, Campo di Fiori, and Piazza Navona. However in truth many of these great locations are easily reachable by foot from Temple View Guesthouse.
Shopping in Via del Corso
If shopping is more your style, Via del Corso which runs off Piazza Venezia is only a few moments away, and guests can lose themselves in the designer shops and lovely restaurants to reward themselves after seeing so many great sites. In fact, in this area there is also the romantic Fontana di Trevi (particularly beautiful when lit at night) which seems to epitomise the beauty and wonder of Rome.
